Meet the Principal!

Ms. Kimberly Riley

Born and raised in Chicago, Ms. Riley brings many years of experience in education as a teacher, instructional leader, youth minister, and pastoral counselor. She began her educational career as an early childhood classroom facilitator at PWCNS and later taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades at St. Stanislaus Kostka Academy in Chicago. Most recently, she served for two years as Big Shoulders Fund Schreiber Assistant Principal at Saint Pius V School in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.

Ms. Riley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, Theology, and Biology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University Chicago. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Global Catholic Educational Leadership with a Principal Endorsement at DePaul University.

As Principal of Our Lady of Guadalupe School, Ms. Riley is committed to fostering a faith-filled learning community where students are known, valued, challenged, and supported. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that Catholic education transforms lives through faith, academic excellence, service, and a strong sense of belonging.

Outside of school, Ms. Riley is an avid Chicago sports fan who enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with her pets. She shares her home with two therapy dogs, Breezer and Roxy, and four cats. Breezer and Roxy will be supporting students as therapy dogs and helping create a welcoming, nurturing environment for all.
